Howard Weiss is recently retired from Contemporary Watercrafters, one of Montgomery County’s largest pool service companies. He owned and operated it for over 35 years, taking it from a one-man one-truck company to an organization with over 30 employees.  Howard sold Watercrafters to two of his staff in 2018 who have taken the company to the next level. Since then, he has focused on pool inspections for home resales as his retirement job. This is a service that he has offered for over 15 years. 

Howard is a Maryland Home Improvement Contractor, Florida Swimming Pool Contractor, Certified Pool Service Professional, Certified Pool Operator and Certified Pool Inspector . For over 10 years, he served his swimming pool trade association as Chairman of the Retailers Council and as a member of the organization’s Board of Directors. One of his passions is training so he also teaches Certified Pool Operator and Certified Pool Service Technician classes to service companies and aspiring pool professionals from time to time.
