Agenda
- Call to order
- Secretary's report (Kate)
- Approve report
- Treasurer's report (Mark)
- Approve report
- Nominating Committee Report:
- DLLR report (Sean)
In February, we took action on a few regulations affecting inspectors.
-Final action on the 2hr Report Writing and 2 hrs on the MD SoP/CoE required as part of the 30 hrs. Awaiting Secretary's approval before it goes into effect. I'll keep you posted with effective dates and I'm pretty sure these won't be due until 2 yrs after this becomes effective.
-Proposed action that only 8 hrs per subject matter be allowed to be claimed per renewal. IE you can't claim 30hr for a roofing course. I'll keep you posted for the public comment period published in the MD registrar (hopefully!)
-proposed action to add to the MD Code of Ethics requiring inspectors follow all state and federal laws, regulations, and local ordinances. I'll keep you posted for the public comment period published in the MD registrar (hopefully!)
April's meeting focused largely on Appraiser details and I don't have any updates other than: DO NOT CHECK THE BOX IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE CPCs on your renewal forms. The audit is random and if you get caught, it's going to cost you.
