MAC-ASHI Technical Seminar–Saturday April 27th, 2019

Featuring

Cecil Johnson, Author, Instructor and HVAC-R Service Technician

Presenting

"HVAC: Just Working or Working Properly"

This course is a presentation of the Laws of the Thermodynamics of Heat, which are associated in the design and engineering of heating and air conditioning equipment. A well-founded understanding of such fundamentals is critical for valid functioning assessments of air conditioning and heating equipment during home inspections. Home inspectors will also be provided with minimal-time, uncomplicated procedural techniques of evaluating HVAC equipment performance so as to increase confidence when professional judgments are made as to whether HVAC systems are “just working or working properly.”

&

Bryck Guibor with Bryck by Bryck Home Inspections, Tuscon, AZ

Presenting

"Inspecting Brick Structures 1890-1950"

This course is an overview of historic masonry and practices from 1890 to 1950 with a focus on solid masonry single family structures. These structures are common in this area and qualified contractors are becoming few and far between who know how to handle this building technique properly. Bryck will touch on first generation brick wall coverings, but concentrate on manufacture, installation, issues, and report writing about solid masonry structures. We will be covering all areas of solid masonry construction from beginner to advanced inspections that will help broaden your expertise as an inspector and set you apart from your competition.
